1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Plotline, a mobile application operated by Plotline Travel, Inc. ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, accessing, or using the Plotline application (the "App") or our related services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (the "Terms").

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the App.

2. Description of Services

The App provides travel discovery, itinerary planning, and coordination tools. It utilizes Artificial Intelligence ("AI") to aggregate recommendations, organize travel plans, and facilitate collaboration between users.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. If you are using the App on behalf of an entity, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

4. User Accounts

To access certain features, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

5. Artificial Intelligence Disclaimer

The App utilizes third-party Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI technologies (including services from OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google) to generate itineraries, provide tips, and answer queries.

Accuracy: AI technologies are experimental and may produce inaccurate, outdated, or offensive information ("hallucinations"). We do not guarantee the accuracy of opening hours, pricing, travel requirements, weather predictions, or safety information generated by the AI.

No Professional Advice: The App is for informational purposes only. It is not a substitute for professional travel agency services, legal advice (e.g., visa requirements), or emergency services.

User Responsibility: You are solely responsible for verifying all information (flight times, reservations, entry requirements) with official sources before traveling.

6. Travel Risks and Physical Safety

The App may recommend locations, activities, or "off-the-beaten-path" experiences based on social media trends or AI analysis.

Assumption of Risk: You acknowledge that travel involves inherent risks, including bodily injury, illness, and property damage. You assume all risks associated with visiting locations recommended by the App.

Safety: We do not vet the safety or quality of specific locations, venues, or third-party service providers mentioned in the App.

7. Third-Party Services and Affiliates

The App may contain links to third-party websites, services, or products, including hotel booking platforms and travel insurance providers.

Affiliate Disclosure: We may earn a commission when you click links or make purchases through the App.

Insurance: Any travel insurance recommendations are provided by third-party affiliates. We are not an insurance broker or carrier. Any insurance policy you purchase is a contract solely between you and the insurance provider. We are not responsible for coverage denials or claims processing.

No Control: We do not control and are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services.

8. User Content and Social Media Integrations

Your Content: You retain ownership of the photos, videos, reviews, and itinerary data you upload or create ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and display such content for the purpose of operating and improving the App.

Social Media: If you choose to import content via links from third-party platforms (e.g., Instagram, TikTok), you represent that you have the right to access and use that content within our App.

Collaboration: If you invite other users ("Co-Writers") to your itinerary, you acknowledge that they will have access to view and edit your travel plans and shared expenses.

9. Financial Tools

The App provides features to track shared expenses and receipts. These tools are for convenience only. We are not a financial institution or accountant. We do not guarantee the mathematical accuracy of expense splitting and are not responsible for disputes between travelers regarding owed monies.

10. Subscriptions and Payments

In-App Purchases: Subscriptions (e.g., Monthly/Yearly plans) are processed via Apple's App Store.

Billing: Your payment method will be charged by Apple upon confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

Refunds: We do not handle payments or refunds directly. All refund requests must be directed to Apple Support in accordance with their terms.

11. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any illegal purpose.
• Harass, abuse, or harm another person or group.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App.
• Use automated scripts to collect information from or otherwise interact with the App.

12. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, source code, text, and graphics (excluding User Content), is the property of Plotline Travel, Inc. and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS-IS" AND "AS-AVAILABLE" BASIS. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE MAKE NO WARRANTY THAT THE APP WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS OR BE ERROR-FREE.

14. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PLOTLINE TRAVEL, INC. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM: (A) YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE THE APP; (B) ANY CONDUCT OR CONTENT OF ANY THIRD PARTY ON THE APP; (C) ANY CONTENT OBTAINED FROM THE APP; OR (D) UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS, USE, OR ALTERATION OF YOUR TRANSMISSIONS OR CONTENT.

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY EXCEED THE GREATER OF ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100.00) OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US, IF ANY, IN THE PAST SIX MONTHS.

15. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Plotline Travel, Inc. and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the App or your violation of these Terms.

16. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of laws provisions. Any disputes arising out of these Terms or the use of the App shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.

17. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Terms on this page or through the App. Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
